On the Elbe islands, a clear signal is given for a consistently sustainable urban development with forward-looking construction projects, a major educational offensive and new ecological standards for a better quality of life. The new building for the Department of Urban Development and the Environment (BSU) is an outstanding key project in this development and is to be certified as an exemplary project for sustainable construction with the DGNB Gold Seal.
The project comprises the construction of a service and administration building with an area of approx. 61,000 m² GFA plus parking and basement floors and approx. 1,500 workplaces for approx. 1,400 employees.
